Abstract
The objective of this paper is to identify the area of investigation with the analysis of spatial, traffic, geotechnical, hydrological, ecological and climatic factors and constraints, and selection of optimum corridor by means of multi-criteria optimization for the planned Banja Luka - Prijedor - Novi Grad highway, which is also the subject-matter of the General design. The General design is prepared by Saobraćajni institut CIP d.o.o. for the Investor - CHINA SHANDONG INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC & TECHNICAL COOPERATION GROUP LTD. The adopted variant is 74.30 km long.
