Historical development of road markings and road signs
The development of traffic signals began almost simultaneously with the development of society and people need to move. In the beginning, at the time when trips were performed (occurred) by walking and harness, different primitive means applied for to indicate directions of movement. Significant development of traffic signals started with the development of car. Nowadays, traffic signals has become an indispensable part of our everyday life and traffic without signaling is practically unthinkable. In this paper, we will give a brief overview of the historical development of road markings and road signs.
